Thank You!

Our household would like to thank each and everyone one of you, all 48 people in attendance) so much for the helping us to make this years Friendsgiving Feast such and incredible event this year!

The side dishes, desserts and beverages that everyone provided complimented the perfectly roasted turkey (which was provided by Janet’s Cafe and Deli here in Santee) to the garlic herbed mashed potatoes and the mouth watering sautéed carrots and broccoli – it was truly a feast for the senses.

Beyond the amazing food, what made the day so special was the warmth and laughter shared with everyone gathered around the tables, fire pit and the pond. It means so much to us to have been a part of your Thanksgiving tradition, and we are already looking forward to next year’s event!

Blame It On The Rain

Well… Mother Nature has spoken (and she’s apparently not a fan of turkey). Due to the incoming storm that’s threatening to turn our Friendsgiving Feast into a wet and windy adventure, we’ve decided to cancel this year’s get-together.

As much as we’d love to gather, laugh, and eat way to much stuffing, we’d rather not have anyone risking life and limb – or soggy pie crusts – trying to get to our home or alternative location.

We’ll definitely find another excuse soon (don’t forget about our HO HO HOlidays event coming up next month) to eat an embarrassing amount of carbs together once the skies calm down. Until then, stay cozy, eat something delicious, and remember: stretchy pants are always in season. 🥧🍂

Since or Friendsgiving Feast got rained out by Ms. Mother Nature, we wanted to give a special shout-out to Janet’s Cafe & Deli, the amazing folks who were going to supply our turkey feast!🦃
